| 1960 Colleagues in the Gard joined the Association which became the " Hérault and Gard Campsite Owners' and Managers' Association". |

| 1965 Pyrénées Orientales owners grouped together in the Roussillon Camping and Caravanning Union. |

| 1970 The Hérault and Gard Campsite Owners' and Managers' Association became a Union in order to join the National Camping and Caravanning Federation. |

| 1977 A departmental camping and caravanning union was set up in Lozère. |
||
| 1979 The Aude Camping-Caravanning Union was set up. |

| 1985 The Lozère Camping-Caravanning Union joined the Languedoc Camping-Caravanning Federation and became the Languedoc-Lozère Camping-Caravanning Federation. |

| 1986 Aude joined the Languedoc-Lozère Federation |

| 1988 The Federation became regional when Pyrénées Orientales joined, and became the Languedoc-Roussillon Camping-Caravanning Federation, which was the only professional body in the region, representing 450 campsites. |
