| The 13th CH.E.N.E. Trophy | ||
• The winners in the Tourism Stakeholders (Acteurs du Tourisme)
section were Martine and Marc Trinquelle, owners of the camping site Le
Bout du Monde at Verdun-Lauragais in the Aude. Marc Trinquelle is also
Vice-President of FHPA-LR for Aude. • Special Mention was awarded to the association Le Fanabregue
in Sauve, Gard, for the creation of the Conservatoire de la culture et
de la fabrication de la fourche en bois de micocoulier (an association
for the growing and making of hayforks in nettle-tree wood). |

| MEDALS FOR HONOURABLE SERVICE IN TOURISM | ||
Six figures in tourism in the Languedoc-Roussillon
Region were awarded medals for honourable service in tourism at the reception
given for the 25th anniversary of the Congress on 5 February. - Gold Medal

| Ordre National du Mérite | ||
Bernard Sauvaire was made Officer of the National Order of Merit on 5 February 2004. This distinction rewards his work in the service of tourism for more than 25 years. The award was conferred to him by his friend Michel Gaudin, Prefect, Director-General of the National Police, at a reception held in his honour at the SETT. |
